PEEK
Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a new type of semi-crystalline aromatic thermoplastic engineering plastic that exhibits excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. It is a type of semi-crystalline polymer material that can be used as a high-temperature-resistant structural material and electrical insulating material, and can be reinforced with glass fiber or carbon fiber composites. PEEK has high rigidity, a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, and outstanding mechanical properties. It can replace traditional materials such as metals and ceramics in specialized fields including aerospace, medical devices (for example, as artificial bone for repairing bone defects), and industrial applications.
